Mike Cosiquien opens PH’s first fully automated cold storage facility

A unit of ISOC Holdings Inc. of bilyonaryo Michael Cosiquien opened the doors to its first fully automated cold storage facility in Bagumbayan, Taguig City.

The multi-billion peso warehouse, which stands at 14 stories tall with a capacity of 20,000 pallets, uses leading-edge technology to automatically move and store products.

Awarded Pioneer Status by the Board of Investments, the facility seeks to address the demand for reliable cold chain logistics service in the country.

With its cutting edge facility, ORCA Cold Chain Solutions aims to transport and store goods safely while maintaining their quality and freshness through minimal interaction.

“We have a lot of untapped potential to be world-class as a food-producing and food-making country. And all of these have motivated us in investing and putting up this state-of-the-art facility,” ISOC Cold Chain president and CEO Yerik C. Cosiquien said in a statement.

“We are proud to bring ASRS into our shores, the technology has been present in our Southeast Asian neighbors and in the most advanced countries of the world. This is an achievement not just for ORCA, but for the country,” he added.
